Can instruction text be added to the Create New Job Requisition page?

Answer: 

  1. Review the Create New Job Requisition page requirement.
  2. Confirm whether the requirement is to add custom instruction text to that page.
  3. Treat this as unsupported in the currentsystemscope. 
  4. Submit an enhancement request if the business needs this functionality. 

Note: 

The KBA states that adding instruction text to the Create New Job Requisition page is not currently possible.

How to default competencies on job requisitions without Job Profile Builder?

Answer: 

  1. Confirm whether competencies should default when a new job requisition is created.
  2. Check whether Job Profile Builder is enabled.
  3. Treat defaulting competencies withoutJobProfile Builder as unsupported. 
  4. Enable the Recruiting and Job Profile Builder integration ifautomaticcompetency population is required. 
  5. Configure predefined job profile content through Job Profile Builder.
  6. Create the job requisition and confirm that competencies from the job profile are copied.

Note: 

If competencies are later changed on the job profile, the competencies already copied to the job requisition do not update automatically. 

What is the Short Requisition Create Page in Recruiting?

Answer: 

  1. Start creating a new job requisition.
  2. Select the requisition template.
  3. Review the short requisition create page that appears after template selection.
  4. Use this page to complete theinitialrequisition information required before the full requisition form opens. 
  5. Review implementation guide configuration details for which fields and operators appear on the page. 

Note: 

The KBA identifies this page as the screen shown immediately after selecting a template when creating a new job requisition.

How to change the order of fields in job requisition or job application templates?

Answer: 

  1. Open the relevant Recruiting template configuration.
  2. Locatethe field list. 
  3. Use the Up and Down arrows to move fields into the desired order.
  4. Save the template changes.
  5. Test the template to confirm the field sequence.
  6. Submit an enhancement request if bulk or drag-and-drop reordering is required. 

Note: 

The KBA states that using the Up and Down arrows is the only available method to reorder fields. 

Can default values be set for job requisition fields?

Answer: 

  1. Review the job requisition field that needs a default value.
  2. Confirm whether the field isdefaultLanguageor currency. 
  3. If the field is notdefaultLanguageor currency, treat default values as unsupported. 
  4. Adjust the process or template design if a default cannot be configured.

Note: 

The KBA states that default values cannot be defined for job requisition fields except defaultLanguage and currency. 

Are section titles required on a Recruiting job profile?

Answer: 

  1. Open the jobrequisition’sJob Profile tab. 
  2. Add or edit a job profile section.
  3. Check therequisition’sdefault language. 
  4. Keep a section title in at least one language.
  5. If the default language is English US and the title must be removed, temporarily add another posting language.
  6. Enter the section title in the added language.
  7. Remove the English US title.
  8. Save the job profile.
  9. Remove the temporary posting language if it is no longer needed.

Note: 

A section cannot be title-less across all languages. English US can act as a fallback title locale.

How is the Manage Skills button controlled on job requisitions?

Answer: 

  1. Go to Admin Center > AI Services Administration.
  2. Open Feature Settings > Recruiting.
  3. Review whether Assisted Applicant Screening is enabled.
  4. Review whether Assisted Job Skills for Career Site Builder is enabled.
  5. Enable the relevant AI feature switch based on the business use case.
  6. Configure the required business rules or Career Site Builder settings.
  7. Confirm whether the Manage Skills button appears on job requisitions.

Note: 

The Manage Skills button can appear on job requisitions when the relevant AI skills features are enabled, even if a specific requisition is not eligible for every AI screening use case.

Can one recruiting template be associated with different route maps?

Answer: 

  1. Review the recruiting template route maprequirement.
  2. Confirm whether the same template must use multiple route maps.
  3. Treat associating one template with different route maps as unsupported.
  4. Use the standard Recruiting route map configuration available for the template.
  5. Consider separate templates if different route map behavior isrequired.

Note: 

The KBA states that associating one template with different route maps is not feasible in the current system design. 

How to use business rules to update Job Location on a requisition?

Answer: 

  1. Configure job location mapping in Recruiting.
  2. Create a business rule that uses the Get Job Location function.
  3. Assign the rule asanonSave rule in Manage Rules in Recruiting. 
  4. Populate the mapped requisition fields such as city, state, country, or postal code.
  5. Save the job requisition.
  6. Confirm that the unified Job Location field is populated.
  7. If the rule does not update the field, open the expected Job Location value in Manage Data.
  8. SelectTake Action> Make Correction. 
  9. Update any field and save.
  10. Return to the requisition, update any field, and save again.

Note: 

If Job Location is configured as multi-select, the rule can set only the primary job location. Additional locations must be added manually.

Can a job requisition field be required only at certain stages?

Answer: 

  1. Review whether the field is configured withrequiredset to true. 
  2. Treat the field asrequiredwherever it is editable. 
  3. Do not expect required behavior to change by requisition stage.
  4. If a role should not be forced to complete the field, remove that role’seditpermission for the field. 
  5. If country-specific required behavior is needed, create separate job requisition templates.
  6. Configure the field as required in the relevant template and optional in the other template. 

Note: 

The KBA states that required fields cannot be made mandatory only for certain stages, users, roles, or selected countries through direct field configuration. 

What is the recommended approach for third-party job postings?

Answer: 

  1. Avoid relying on screen scraping for Recruiting job postings.
  2. Use Recruiting Marketing to distribute jobs to relevant locations where available.
  3. Consider web services to build an XML extract if a custom third-party feed isrequired.
  4. Consider Professional Services or an integration approach if custom development is needed.
  5. Review the standard postedjobsXML export only as a technical option. 
  6. Avoid treating the standard XML export as a long-term configurable solution.

Note: 

The KBA states that screen scraping is not formally supported and is not recommended.

How do route maps work with job requisition forms?

Answer: 

  1. Configure the route map approval path.
  2. Select the operators thatparticipatein the approval flow. 
  3. Ensure users are assigned to eachoperatorstep when the requisition is submitted. 
  4. Use iterative or collaboration route map options only where they fit the Recruiting approval process.
  5. Remember that the route map follows the main operator role declared in the route map.
  6. Create new requisitions after route map changes if the updated route map should apply.

Note: 

Changes to a route map do not apply to previously created job requisitions. Recruiting uses the Modify stage for approval.

Can State or Province values be added or reordered in Set Up Job Board Options?

Answer: 

  1. Go to Admin Center > Set Up Job Board Options.
  2. Search for the relevant country and state or province value.
  3. If the value is missing, treat the list as non-configurable.
  4. Do notattemptto add or reorder entries in this list. 
  5. Submit an enhancement request if the business needs additional configurable values.

Note: 

The KBA states that the State/Province list is hardcoded based on ISO standards and cannot be edited or reordered.

Why is Job Requisition Status not always available as a filter?

Answer: 

  1. Go to Recruiting > Job Requisitions.
  2. Open the Filter Job Requisitions dropdown.
  3. Select Open Job Requisitions or Closed Job Requisitions.
  4. Open Filter Options and confirm that Job Requisition Status is available.
  5. Select All Job Requisitions, JobRequisitionsPending Approval, or Open and Pending Job Requisitions. 
  6. Open Filter Options and confirm that Job Requisition Status is not available.
  7. Treat this as expected behavior.

Note: 

The Job Requisition Status filter is available for approved and closed requisition states, not for filters that include pre-approved requisitions.

How to reassign job requisitions in Recruiting Management?

Answer: 

  1. Go to Manage Permission Roles.
  2. Open the relevant role.
  3. Go to Manage Recruiting.
  4. Grant Reassign Job Requisitions permission.
  5. Go to Admin Tools > Manage Recruiting > Reassign Job Requisitions.
  6. Select a job requisition template or search by requisition ID.
  7. Select the requisitions to reassign.
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Choose the operator oroperatorsto reassign. 
  10. Click Reassign.

Note: 

Job requisitions pending approval are routed to the new Currently With approver after reassignment. Reassigned operators receive email notifications.

How to remove pending Recruiting To-Do items from the home page?

Answer: 

  1. Review the pending Recruiting To-Do item.
  2. Complete the pending action, such as job requisition approval, offer approval, or interview feedback.
  3. For interview feedback, provide an overall rating andselect I’mDone. 
  4. If the application is disqualified, withdrawn, or the requisition is closed, confirm whether the interview feedback To-Do is removed.
  5. If invalid To-Do itemsremain, verify knownissue guidance first. 
  6. If needed, run the relevant Provisioning job tosynchome page card service entries. 

Note: 

The KBA states that these pending items cannot be hidden through Manage Home Page. They are removed by completing or resolving the pending Recruiting action.

Can View Form buttons be disabled for pre-approved job requisitions?

Answer: 

  1. Open a pre-approved job requisition.
  2. Review the View Form related buttons.
  3. Treat these buttons as part of form section navigation behavior.
  4. Do not expect Recruiting Management configuration to disable them.
  5. Communicate that the section is not supported in Recruiting.

Note: 

The KBA states that the View Form buttons are derived from Performance Management form functionality and cannot currently be disabled in Recruiting. 

How to map Location object fields to Recruiting Posting location fields?

Answer: 

  1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Posting.
  2. Open Field Completion under Job Posting Rules.
  3. Select the job requisition template to map.
  4. Select the Location field.
  5. Choose Map to Location Foundation Object or Map to Location Generic Object.
  6. Remove any existing standard mapping first if object mapping is needed.
  7. Save the mapping.
  8. Test a posting to confirm location values populate as expected.

Note: 

Country, city, and postal code values come from the selected location object. If those fields are not populated on the object, users must fill missing values manually. 

How to add, edit, or import questions in Question Library?

Answer: 

  1. Grant Manage Question Library permissions.
  2. Go to Admin Center > Question Library.
  3. Create a new category if needed.
  4. Create or open a question.
  5. Set the answer format, such as free text or multiplechoice.
  6. Add answer options for multiple choice questions.
  7. Select the correct answer if the question is scored or disqualifying.
  8. Save the question.
  9. To import questions, grant Import New Question Library permission.
  10. Go toImportQuestion Library. 
  11. Select the CSV file and import it.

Note: 

For multiple choice questions, choose the correct answer when the question is intended to be scored or disqualifying. 

How does Candidate Workbench behave when changing application status?

Answer: 

  1. Identifythe current Candidate Workbench view. 
  2. Use View Active Candidates to show non-disqualified candidates.
  3. Use View All Candidates to show all candidates on the requisition.
  4. Use a specific pipeline status view to show candidates in that status.
  5. In View Active Candidates, expect to stay with the same candidate after most status changes.
  6. InViewAll Candidates or a specific status view, expect the system to move to the next candidate after a status change. 
  7. Remember that some actions reload the page instead of following the standard view behavior.

Note: 

The system remembers the last Candidate Workbench view used and opens that view the next time. 

How to enable the Forward to Requisitions button on an application page?

Answer: 

  1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Templates.
  2. Open Recruiting Templates.
  3. Select Job Application.
  4. Open the desired job application template.
  5. Open Button Permissions Defined.
  6. Select the Forward applicationoption.
  7. Choose the role that should receive permission.
  8. Click Done.
  9. Publish the application template.
  10. Test whether the recruiting user can forward the candidate to another requisition. 

Note: 

The same permission can also be added through XML template changes with implementation partner support. 

Can recruiters be restricted from creating new pre-screening questions?

Answer: 

  1. Open a job requisition.
  2. Go to the pre-screening questions section.
  3. Review whether users can create new questions.
  4. Treat restricting users to only library questions as unsupported.
  5. Treat hiding the createoptionas unsupported. 
  6. Communicate that users can access all question libraries configured in the instance.

Note: 

The KBA states that question library access cannot be restricted to selected libraries for selected users, and users can save questions to personal libraries. 

How to update cascading questions in Question Library?

Answer: 

  1. Identifythe parent and child question that must be changed. 
  2. Export the target parent question fromQuestionLibrary. 
  3. Include thechildquestion in the export. 
  4. Edit the exported CSV file.
  5. Deletethe existing question in the UI. 
  6. Go toImportQuestion Library. 
  7. Import the updated CSV file using the same library name.
  8. Verify that the cascading question is updated in the UI.
  9. Create a new job requisition manually to test the updated question.

Note: 

Updating a question in the library does not automatically update the same question on existing requisitions. Creating a new requisition is recommended when question type changes are made.

Can the Recruiting team be notified when a job requisition is created?

Answer: 

  1. Go to Admin Center > Recruiting Email Triggers.
  2. Review available trigger recipients.
  3. Confirm whether the desired recipient is the Recruiting team.
  4. Treat direct Recruiting team notification as unsupported.
  5. Use supported recipients such as configured operators, employee email, or standalone email addresses.
  6. Submit an enhancement request if Recruiting team notification is required. 

Note: 

The KBA states that Recruiting Email Triggers do not support a specific recipient option for notifying the Recruiting team.
